Travelling from the girls points of view

June 18

Hier on a été a un super marché.  Moi j’ai acheter quelque chose pour Madame Caroline.  J’ai eu un biscuit en forme d’une fleur qui etait bleu.  

Ma famille on a été a une Parliament Building ou Steven Harper travaille.  Une personne nommer Claire nous a montrer un tour du Parliament Building.  Après on a été au <<Peace Tower>> et c’etait très très haut.  J’ai eu un peut peu.

Ce matin,j’était chez Doug,Beth,Cole et Matthew.On a partie pour aller a notre prochain arrêt.  On a été à Tim Hortons.  On a eu une packet de 20 Timbits et une beigne pour Natalie.  On a conduit a un magasin nommer Foodland après on était rendu à l’endroit où on allait camping.  On a placé la tente après on a manger le souper.  Après on a fait le feu, on a manger des guimauves et des bretzels.

Yesterday we went to the Parliament Buildings and we went on a tour where the Prime Minister, Steven Harper, works.  We went to see the Library and the tour guide said it was very old because it survived the fire of 1916 which destroyed the entire Parliament buildings except the Library.    We went into the Peace Tower and in the elevator we saw the bells and the biggest bell weighed 1 ton ( I think).  There were 53 bells in all.  In Peace Tower you could see almost all of Ottawa.  We went into a bakery and four of us purchased a cookie - Daddy didn’t want one.  I took a big double chocolate chunk nut cookie.  It was a fun day.

Today was my BIRTHDAY!!!!  We went to Tim Horton’s and I got a donut since it was my birthday.  We went to a park close to the water in a place call Pembroke.  We also did a mural walk where you needed to find a little sparrow in each mural.        We drove to the campground and there were a lot of black flies and mosquitos.  There was a park and a beach.  After supper we went to the beach and me and David put the feet in the water.  Then we had a campfire - I had my donut that I got at Tim’s and I also had pretzels since I can’t have marshmallows.
